But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.
Often times in life we place our hope in people, things, and even situations. We hope that a person fulfills their promise. We hope that a certain thing is given to us. We hope that a situation works out for the benefit of our good. However, we barely stop and take the time to ask ourselves, what should we really hope for and where should our hope really lie? For God promises victory! He promises life, life abundantly! He also promises us fresh anointing and peace! So, I encourage you to take into account that God also promised, "Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). Therefore, we need to put our hope in God and God alone because that is the only sure way that promises will be fulfilled, things will be bestowed upon us, and situations will triumph.
