Matthew 7:7-10 Your Personal Journey to Building the Ultimate Connection with Christ, Pt. 5

Matthew 7:7-10 (NIV)
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?"

Alright, so now we have what? Faith, hope, and trust! Faith is the daily prayer, Hope is the daily praise, and Trust is the daily devotional because you’re trusting in God’s word — So what does that give us? Matthew 7:7-10! 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you (prayer - having constant communication with God, and faith that He will answer your prayers); seek, and you will find (devotional, reading God’s word with the hope that He will give you the answers you are looking for from your prayers); knock, and it will be opened to you (praising and trusting God that as His word says, and it is so! and continually praising God because you know it is so). 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? By spending time with God through prayer, praise, and devoting your time to study His word, He ultimately provides you the desires of your heart, and you gain an understanding that God is love! He is not going to give you a stone as a meal, but rather He will bestow an abundance upon you, He will turn stones into bread!
