Psalm 119:105-112 Feeling Confused, Carry Your Lamp

Psalm 119:105-112 (NIV)
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws. I have suffered much; preserve my life, Lord, according to your word. Accept, Lord, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws. Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law. The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts. Your statutes are my heritage forever, they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.

Last week we looked at Jonah, and like him, we decided to stop running because we cannot hide from God. However, sometimes after being stagnant or in darkness for so long, we need clarity because we are unsure of the next step or even what path to take to fulfill the call. The stagnation or darkness comes in the form of hatred, bigotry, ageism, sexism, racism, manipulation, lies, oppression, temptation, addiction, lust, fantasy, and jealousy. Therefore, you must always carry Christ with you so He can bring light to the darkness, so he can bring clarity to your freedom, and realness to your revelation. Let the word of the Lord reveal the truth in darkness, let the word carry you on your journey so you do not have to be afraid of darkness, let the word of God be your comforter, counselor, healer, way maker, deliverer, provider, and companion on the journey. Christ is the light and He will make everything clear and plain. I encourage you to continue on your journey and carry your lamp of clarity which will rebuke any confusion in your life.
