Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Third, we find power in our conversation with God - Prayer. Conversing with God is talking with and listening to Him. Therefore, staying in His presence and word gives you more opportunity to communicate with Him. The more you communicate with God the more joy and love you will find. I would dare to say that many of us do not have challenges conversing with Christ, whether it is in our cars, the shower, on our couches, while cooking or exercising. However, I would venture to say the true challenge is listening to God. Today's scripture reminds us that God will answer, it may not be the answer you want to hear, but He will answer and grant you with the knowledge of great and unsearchable things that you do not know!
I encourage you to pray for a strong discerning spirit, wiser mind, and a disciplined body. When you decide elevation over your life, you are declaring war of the mind, body, and spirit, which is why staying prayed up is necessary. When you have discernment, wisdom, and discipline, you put yourself in less compromising situations and are keenly aware of ways the devil will aim to attack you. Stay in his presence, be in his word, and listen more talk less - you will be charged up with divine power! The power to combat all valleys and remember Christ while on the mountain tops!
Join us next Wednesday, December 27th for our last call of the year, which will be only prayer. On January 3, we will kick off our new series of Learning to Listen to God, click here to download guide.
