10 Steps to Dating With a Purpose

With 4 weddings on the horizon between now and December, I felt compelled to start this conversation in the F.I.R.E. community. In 2015, one may frequently hear, "dating nowadays is different" and "the times have changed." Yet, just because times have changed doesn't mean it has changed in the right direction. Madam Koverage (madamkoverage.com), wrote a great blog post, "Dating with a Purpose" that listed 10 steps to help men and women date with a purpose. Below are Madam Koverage's 10 steps (the ones highlighted in bold, the F.I.R.E. community have explored).   1. Keep God first.
  2. Keep your legs closed.
  3. Are you truly happy with yourself?
  4. Be ready to let the past hurt go.
  5. Make a list of what you like, what you are open to, what you won't budge on etc.
  6. Be HONEST and communicate.
  7. Be careful on what you post on social media.
  8. Keep things fun and fresh.
  9. Be intentional with your words, thoughts, and actions.
  10. DO NOT abandon your friends and people around you.
