Women, Faith and Business: New Age Ministry

You know what March is, Womens’ History Month! This month we celebrated a woman of faith who owns her own business, a true embodiment of One Temple Fitness - Mind, Body & Spirit. Cheri McDole is the Founder and Executive Director for Room 116. Room 116 is a non-profit organization that aims to improve young adult mental health and well-being through community. Based off of Romans 1:16, Cheri wants this generation to experience the love of Christ in a safe and fun environment. Whether it is through weekly group discussions or a fun game night everyone is welcome to grow, play, and connect. In this month's Temple Talk, we discuss the topic of "Women, Faith and Business: New Age Ministry." In this discussion we explore how to bring God's ministry to young adults, how to combat church hurt, and how to develop a successful non-profit organization in Los Angeles where there can be combating values that conflict against church values. During this discussion we explore how as Christians, by being authentic we are able to connect and minister to those who might not attend church. Not all Christians fit into one box and at times wearing the label Christian can keep others from opening up or wanting to build a relationship with us. Either way we must be confident and unafraid to speak the word of God and show others the true nature of God. God is love and ultimately God wants us all to be his children.

Listen to this amazing discussion as we explore women, faith, and business. Do not forget to comment below.
